Before starting the detoxification process on your body you need to consider starting with your mind first. By getting rid of negative emotions like resentment or getting even with someone. Purification of the mind will help the healing of the body and increase your health as well.

The connection between the mind and body has been known for centuries and has been practiced in many cultures. Fasting has proven to not only detoxify the body, but also help create a mental experience. This mental experience as long given a feeling of spiritual clarity and determination of purpose. After the mind and body detox you’ll be more prepared to make

the lifestyle changes in eating habits and thought processes needed for a more enjoyable life.

When discussing detoxification many think of a lengthy fast, consuming nothing but water. Even though fasting only with water is good it can be to extreme for most people and isn’t always the best method.

You must clean up your eating habits.

The healthier your overall diet the easier it is to cleanse your body and keep it that way. If you have had a continual problem with your eating habits then detoxification can make a big difference in the way you feel. There is no better time than now to detoxify and change your diet permanently.

Any change now will increase the cleansing and can be considered part of the detox process. You can slowly make changes in your eating habits. There are several levels of detox and these are based on what your willing to do to start.

First start with the mental detoxification. Eat raw vegetables and fruit. Drink water only. Limit the amount of whole grain, vegetables and fruits.
