Neways was founded in the late 1980s, and was incorporated in 1992 by Tom Mower. It was sold to Golden Gate in 2006 for an estimated $700 million. Golden Gate also owns Herbalife. Tom Mower moved on to Sisel International. The company headquarters are located in Springville, Utah.
Currently established in approximately 29 countries, Neways have more than 500,000 distributors in the United States, Australia, Canada, Germany, Taiwan (NFR), Israel, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Russian, Singapore, United Kingdom.
Neways products fall into three major categories; health and wellness, personal care, and household. With more than 300 products ranging from shampoos and shower gels to nutritional supplements and household cleaners, their mission is to avoid potentially harmful ingredients.
The compensation plan
The Neways Compensation plan is a hybrid uni-level with a stairstep breakaway. As a distributor, you need to purchase $150 US of product per month. You earn 10% up to four levels deep and 5% on an additional two levels. When a distributor in your downline reaches a certain level, they break away and are no longer part of your personal group. You no longer receive bonuses for this distributor and their downline. The compensation plan is not the simplest I have looked at. If you are interested in this opportunity, I would recommend that you go through it with a fine tooth comb.
To make a substantial income with this opportunity, you would need to recruit a very large organisation of distributors as well as sell lots of product. You would need to attend product parties, as well as calling lists of friends and family. In my opinion you would need to master and utilise a wide range of marketing tactics to really get ahead with this opportunity.
