Detox and Cleansing Diets – Which One is Right For You?

So you’ve decide that it’s time to detox your body but find that with all the different detox and cleansing diets around you’re really confused. You’ve heard about raw food diets, juicing, liver cleansing, colon cleansing, vegetarianism and much more, so which one is right for you?

Well, the answer to that question depends on what you are hoping to achieve. If you are a beginner and are trying detoxing for the first time, you could try a 1-day juice fast. You can easily extend that to a 3-day juice fast if you are happy to continue. Both these short juice cleanses will give you a good introduction to detoxing and cleansing. After a 3-day juice fast you may notice that your skin is clearer and your hair is healthier looking. This should inspire you to want to cleanse your body at a deeper level. You can achieve this is many ways. If you enjoy juice fasting you could try longer fasts of up to 7 days. Or you could try to clean up your diet.

Following a clean diet is my preferred option to detoxing and cleansing. It means you are getting good nutrients into your body every day and also keeping out the bad stuff. You can supplement this clean living with a month juice fast, as this will supercharge the results. Many people find that the more cleansing they do, the better they look and feel and the more they are then inspired to carry on.

Following a clean diet and partaking in monthly juice fasts will help you lose weight and have beautiful skin and hair. You should also notice an increase in energy levels throughout the day, along with increased concentration and work rate. You will also need less sleep and will wake up feeling refreshed in the mornings.
